ODA Dual Credit Courses

One Day Academy offers the option of dual credit classes for condensed, efficient learning opportunities.

We are excited to be offering a large slate of dual credit courses for ODA students for the 2024 - 2025 academic year. We are still finishing up a few details - it has taken longer than we expected. All of the courses in the schedules have faculty who are qualified and available and have agreed to teach the course for ODA. As soon as we have final details regarding university agreements and faculty decisions, we will be changing initials to names and letting you know of the updates.

Thank you for your patience. We are excited to be able to offer so much to the students of ODA.

What are Dual Credit Courses?

Dual credit enrolls students in college courses while they are still in high school, allowing them to earn credit for both. These are college courses offered by One Day Academy faculty members, all taking place ONLINE.

We have secured a partnership with LeTourneau University, (LETU).  We will offer 1 section in the fall and another in the spring.  Costs will be very competitive.  Registration with LETU is free and simple.

Why are we offering dual credit courses?

Advanced courses - challenging topics and ideas which students complete in a semester, just like in college, but less expensive and while living at home.

Expanded opportunities – ODA students can earn college credit while taking courses at One Day Academy

How do parents sign up their students for dual credit courses?
  1. Register with LeTourneau

  2. Register with One Day Academy

  3. Register with the teacher, just like a regular 34-week class.  The list of courses is available with the rest of the schedules.  And faculty members offering a dual credit course have it listed on their respective registration forms.
