One Day Academy is sponsoring the Scripps National Spelling Bee. The winner of the ODA Spelling Bee will compete in the San Antonio Regional Spelling Bee. The Spelling Bee Regional Director will contact the winner's family directly with next steps and details. 

The Regional Bee will consist of an online qualifier round which will be held from Mar 4 - Mar 11, 2026. The winner will be able to take the qualifier exam from home depending on access. The qualifier will be timed and consist of vocabulary and spelling. The Regional Bee will be held on Saturday, Mar 21, 2026. Location will be in San Antonio.

• Students need to be no older than 15 by September 1, 2025 and in 8th grade or younger.

• Must be currently homeschooled to qualify.

• Registration fee: $10 per participant
