CANCELLED Cen-Tex Scripps Spelling Bee 2023
One Day Academy sponsors the Scripps National Spelling Bee. The winner advances to the regional bee in February, and the winner of that event advances to the Houston PBS Spelling Bee in March. The winner of the Houston bee secures a position in the Scripps National Spelling Bee in Washington.

THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED
One Day Academy is sponsoring the Scripps National Spelling Bee. The winner advances to the regional playoff in February, and the winner of that event advances to the Houston PBS Spelling Bee in March. The winner of the Houston bee secures a position in the Scripps National Spelling Bee in Washington D.C. in May.
- Students need to be no older than 15 by September 1, 2022 and in 8th grade or younger.
- Must be currently homeschooled to qualify.
- Registration fee: $10 per participant
- REGISTER EARLY IN ORDER TO RECEIVE HELPFUL PRACTICE LISTS VIA EMAIL
- Arrive at 8:30am on Bee day please - event starts at 9am
