Course Description:
The Book of Psalms: A Creative Girls' Bible Study is a creative and discussion-based course designed for upper elementary through lower middle school students (ages 11-14) to explore the book of Psalms through a Christ-centered lens. This course invites girls to grow in their faith by engaging with Scripture, understanding God’s character, and applying biblical truths to their daily lives. Through guided discussions, personal reflection, and creative activities, students will: explore the themes of trust, gratitude, and praise found throughout the Psalms; understand the historical and spiritual context of passages; learn how to be honest with God through prayer and journaling; memorize meaningful verses; and develop habits of daily devotion and Scripture study. Alongside biblical learning, the importance of community will be emphasized, encouraging one another to support one another and build confidence in discussing their faith. By the end of the course, participants will have a deeper understanding of the Psalms and practical tools for applying God’s Word in their everyday lives. This study is ideal for girls seeking to grow spiritually, build meaningful friendships, and strengthen their walk with God.
