Course Description:
This Online summer class will keep your student reading, writing, and thinking in enjoyable ways through the summer months. Class time will involve discussion of what has been or will be read while also providing engaging and interactive writing activities for students.The objective is for students to have unique interactions with reading and writing while maintaining mental activity through the summer in preparation for the coming school year.
Students will have one hour of class time each week for eight weeks. Through the week, students should plan to work 30 minutes a day on reading and any activities given by the teacher. Work time is dependent on the student's ability and may fluctuate.

If time allows, students will also read several short stories, provided by faculty. A list will be sent to parents before the short stories are read.
