Course Description:
Learn how to manage academic computer applications so students are prepared for school! Integrating technology in education has quickly become core in our modern world. This course will focus on teaching students the applications necessary in order to succeed in their academic careers. These are technology applications that are most commonly used in Junior High, High School, and college. Students who take this course will be prepared to use any of these applications in future courses in any subject in order to be successful. In addition, students will learn how to navigate and be safe on the internet and how to research and copyright material. Technology is quickly integrating in our modern society, and students need to become familiar with how they work in order to use it. Get ahead of the game and learn how these applications work before they are needed.

This course will be conducted through lectures, engaging activities, hands-on practice, and discussions. Fun and interactive projects will be provided. Two semester projects will also challenge students in a fun and creative way that will utilize multiple applications.
Homework: 1 hour per week

Laptop computers are required for class with Internet and Google access.
All curriculum materials will be provided by the instructor at no charge.
