Course Description:
“In the beginning God created….” and so begins the story of world history from Adam to Us. This interactive class will take students from Creation to present day, exploring the events, people, and landscape that make up God’s story for humanity. Using a Biblical worldview, this course will chronologically cover each period of history from ancient to modern times, exploring what was going on in different parts of the world. Students will be exposed to various primary sources and the cultural traditions of civilizations throughout history. Class time will consist of lectures, games, activities, and simulations to help students experience each time period. Students will complete weekly homework, two end of semester projects, and read two additional novels.
