Course Description:

Purpose

Students will continue to learn the rules of grammar through color-coding of the eight parts of speech. Students will learn to write five-paragraph compositions as well as spell and use meaningful vocabulary words.

Responsibilities

*Parents grade spelling, vocabulary, and grammar as well as oversee the completion of writing assignments.

*Teachers grade and record writing assignments.

*Students should set aside approximately 20 minutes four days/week for completing coursework assignments.
