English 5 - Thesis & Rhetoric
English 5 students end their year with a 20-minute thesis defense presentation and answer questions from a panel of judges. The top students are named as finalists and compete for scholarship money. This year’s finalists were:
Three students were completed a rigorous course load during the school year, then were selected for a week-long summer internship at NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston.

MOCK TRIAL TEAM
One Day Academy’s first-year mock trial team were named Regional Champions. They advanced to the state tournament in Dallas to compete against 48 teams, where they placed in the top half.

Hannah Edwards competed at National History Day. She won 1st place in her region, 3rd place at state, and qualified to nationals.

This homeschool robotics team competes against public schools with state-funded robotics labs.
