About the course

<p class="font_8"><strong>Purpose</strong></p>
<p class="font_8">Students in this stage are gaining confidence in both their reading and writing skills. Students will be introduced to the basic rules of grammar through color-coding, write with a purpose, as well as spell and use meaningful vocabulary words.</p>

<p class="font_8">Each week parents are asked to oversee the completion of the following assignments, grade them accordingly, and record the grades on the Weekly Grade Report Chart:</p>

<p class="font_8">Compositions should be completed according to the rubrics provided in the student workbook and submitted to the student’s One Day Academy teacher for grading.</p>
