Latin 3 is a continuation of Latin 2. It builds on the grammar and vocabulary mastered in the previous year. It includes a weekly study of Latin vocabulary and grammar. While learning the subtleties of grammar and etymology, students gain a deep understanding of English grammar and logical thinking. Latin is akin to verbal math and is an excellent preparation for those pursing future careers in law, medicine, science or any of the romance languages. Students will be taught how to construe weekly original Latin texts. Latin 3 takes the Latin student even deeper into the world of great leaders and thinkers such as Cicero, Vergil and St. Augustine.
