Course Description:

Purpose

Intermediate Sewing is for the student who is no longer a beginner, but who is not quite ready to tackle complicated patterns.  We'll be making several items from patterns, and will focus on reading patterns, proper construction techniques and some simple embellishments.

Curriculum/Materials:

  • As with Beginning Sewing, a sewing machine and notions kit is required. The instructor will choose patterns to suit the sewing ability of the students. Fabric will be supplied by the student, but supplemental materials will be provided by the instructor.
