Course Description:
The purpose of this program is to introduce children to a variety of exercises and to learn how to work together as a team. The goal for this course is to help students acquire a knowledge of the concepts of physical fitness while understanding the influence health and fitness have on your lifestyle. P.E. students will be taught athletic safety, health, fitness and more. The goal when exercising with children is simple: Be safe, have fun and help kids learn to love physical activity.
Class objectives:
Understand and Reinforce the concepts of Physical Education
Encourage and motivate students to be active
Teach students how to become a team player
Enjoy athletics while being smart and safe
Curriculum/Materials:
The curriculum will include units on health, nutrition, fun exercise and team work.
