FREE VISITS for ODA Students & Families

Becky Terry visits several of the Austin area campuses each year to offer FREE 20 minutes advising sessions for high school students and parents. Students and parents from other campuses are welcome to participate.

 

For 2020-2021, campus visits will be at the following campuses:

  • Round Rock - 3 times (Fall, Winter, Spring)

  • Southwest - 3 times (Fall, Winter, Spring)

  • Marble Falls – Fall 

  • Bastrop – Winter 

  • Waco – Spring

  • College applications and essays

  • Scholarship applications essays

  • College and major choice

  • Transcripts

  • Resumes

  • Interviewing hints and tips

  • And much more

Spring 2021 CAMPUS VISITS
CAMPUS VISITS DETAILS

Open to all ODA high school students and families. Students from other ODA campuses are welcome. Appointments can be with parents, students or both! Sign up for an appointment ONLINE at least one week prior to the campus visit. Read your ODA emails for reminders & upcoming dates and times. First come, first served.​ 8th grade students may be seen in the Spring, if space allows.

PRIVATE COACHING & ADVISING SESSIONS

Mrs. Terry is also available for one-on-one coaching and advising for ODA students and parents. Some of the services offered include:

  • Career direction and college major advising packages using various assessments (Mrs. Terry is certified on several assessments.)

  • More in-depth coaching and advising than the 20-minute on campus sessions can offer

  • Mock interviews for college applications and scholarship interviews

  • College applications and essays reviews

  • Transcripts, resumes and other related correspondence critiques

  • And much more
