What is Applied Science?

It is taking science and applying it to practical use. Students learn to apply the 2-dimensional knowledge they learn through hands-on experience to create something 3-dimensional.

Applied Science Courses

are taught by degreed, industry-experienced, Christian instructors who have a passion for sharing knowledge in their particular industry.

Learning how to present and modify ideas, problem solving, and even production are all a part of these programs that go beyond the nuts and bolts of learning a hands-on technique. Competency in these areas allow a graduating student from an Applied Sciences course of study to confidently enter into further schooling in a college degree program; obtain an entry level industry position; or even start a business in a particular field.

Applied Sciences at One Day Academy

is a growing Division. Current courses are in Fashion Design & Sewing. Future plans include the addition of programs in construction management, culinary sciences, and drafting. All Applied Science courses are developed to give your student mastery in areas that can successfully transfer into many ares of life and ministry.
